About Us

Our Story

The story of Harrell Plumbing Company began in 1951 when Edgar H. Harrell, Sr. first entered the plumbing supply industry. Through years of hard work and dedication to the trade, he built a strong foundation of knowledge and experience, earning his Master Plumber’s License in 1972.

Soon after, Edgar partnered with his son, Don Harrell, to establish Harrell Plumbing Company, Inc. Together they built a business rooted in integrity, craftsmanship, and a commitment to doing the job right. Don followed closely in his father’s footsteps, earning his Journeyman License in 1975, his Master Plumber’s License in 1977, and later expanding his expertise by obtaining his Master Medical Gas License in 2000.

As the company grew, so did the Harrell family’s involvement. In 2001, the third generation joined the business when Don’s youngest son, Brad Harrell, came on board. Brad quickly immersed himself in the trade, earning his Journeyman License in 2005, his Master Plumber’s License in 2007, and his Master Medical Gas License in 2010. In 2015, Brad stepped into the role of Vice President of Field Operations, continuing the family tradition of leadership and hands-on expertise. Brad and his wife, Robin, are proud parents to two sons, Connor Dean and Liam Zander.

The family legacy continued in 2003 when Don’s son Curtis Harrell joined the company. Curtis earned his Journeyman License in 2007 and his Master Plumber’s License in 2010. With a strong understanding of both the technical and business sides of the industry, Curtis became Vice President of Estimating and Sales in 2015. Curtis and his wife, Cathy, have been part of the Harrell family journey since their marriage in 2005.

In 2011, Don’s daughter Jennifer joined the company as Office Administrator, bringing organization and leadership to daily operations. By 2015, she was promoted to Vice President of Office Operations, helping guide the company behind the scenes. On August 9, 2015, she welcomed her son, Jackson Wyatt Smith.

Today, Harrell Plumbing Company remains a family-owned and operated business spanning three generations. What began with one man’s dedication to the plumbing trade has grown into a company built on decades of experience, strong family values, and a lasting commitment to quality workmanship.
